  • Your device has an HDMI output:
    • If your Android device is equipped with a full-size HDMI output, you can simply connect Vufine using the HDMI cable that comes with the Vufine package. If the HDMI connector is micro or mini HDMI, you will need an adapter or alternate cable.

  • Your device has Type-C USB that supports HDMI output:
    • If your device has a Type-C USB connector that supports HDMI output, you will need a Type-C USB to full-size HDMI adapter.
    • Note that some phones with type-C USB port do not support HDMI output. For a full list, please see our (HYPERLINK) compatibility page.

 

  • Your device has micro-USB that supports MHL:
    • If your device has a micro-USB connector and supports MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link), you will need a MHL to HDMI adapter.
    • Refer to these links to see which devices support MHL (List of MHL-Enabled Phones – Hudly, MHL® – Devices
    • Note that the most MHL adapters require separate micro USB as a power source.

  • Your device has micro-USB that supports Slimport:
    • Refer to this link to see which devices support SlimPort (SlimPort supported devices)
    • Note that the most MHL adapters require separate micro USB as a power source.

  • Notes:
    • Not All Android devices support HDMI output.
    • In some cases, you will need to configure display settings to enable 720p HDMI output.
